Position Overview
Join us in our fast-paced support to develop, advance, and sustain weapon systems for the U.S. Space Force (USSF) and its mission partners. You will be joining a team of personnel with experience and an in-depth understanding of the environments that include ground, near-space, space, and any system that operates in those environments to meet current and projected strategic, operational, and tactical needs for the Department of Defense (DoD). QinetiQ is a mission-led innovation company that works with the USSF and DoD to design, develop, field, and maintain requirements essential to national security and the survivability of the war-fighter.
We are seeking a Systems and Logistics Engineers proficient in modeling and simulating (M&S) on a myriad of platforms and in interpreting results. This will include experience with integrating numerous different M&S tools across multiple organizations. The ideal candidate will have a background in handling logistics and sustainment of large integrated systems. This position requires an individual who can work closely with technical teams, stakeholders, and partners to ensure program success.
The salary range for this role is 125,000 - 175,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. QinetiQ US considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Responsibilities
- Provide systems engineering across the entire life-cycle for space-based, ground-based, and/or the ground systems C2 services
- Provide technical oversight of space systems development including concepts, requirements, and architectural designs
- Conducts modeling-based systems engineering and analysis such as requirements flow down and other verification methodologies
- Supports configuration and risk management processes and makes recommendations
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency with modeling and simulation on a myraid of platforms
- 10 years integrating modeling and simulation in space systems
- Background in handling logistics and sustainment of large integrated systems
- Experience with building and maintaining system risk program, including risk process definition, risk identification, and detailed technical risk burn down plans
- MA/MS degree
- Expertise with Cameo

- Experience working in an acquistiion development environment
