Job Title: EDI Integration Specialist
Location: Hebron, KY (Onsite)
Duration/Term: Long Term Contract
Job Summary:
- We are seeking an experienced EDI Integration Specialist to support a growing business that is expanding its electronic data interchange (EDI) capabilities across its customer base. This role will serve as the first point of contact for all EDI-related issues and will work closely with internal teams and external partners to troubleshoot, resolve, and manage integration efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience with Nulogy,NetSuite (for invoicing), and EDI protocols, and be comfortable owning technical conversations and building issue resolution plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary owner for EDI-related discussions, both internally and with customer IT teams.
- Troubleshoot EDI integration issues involving Nulogy and NetSuite,including mapping errors, failed transactions, and document mismatches.
- Act as the liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams,and customers to identify, communicate, and resolve EDI issues in a timely manner.
- Create and maintain documentation for EDI workflows, error resolution processes, and customer-specific requirements.
- Lead onboarding efforts for new customer EDI integrations, ensuring smooth setup and testing phases.
- Provide input and collaborate on broader system improvements and automation related to supply chain and invoicing workflows.
- Monitor ongoing EDI transactions and proactively identify issues or areas for optimization.Manage relationships with EDI providers, VANs, or middleware platforms if applicable.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3-5+ years of experience working with EDI integration and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with Nulogy and NetSuite, especially around order management and invoicing processes.
- Strong understanding of EDI standards and protocols (e.g., X12,EDIFACT, AS2, FTP/SFTP).
- Experience working with EDI mapping tools, middleware (e.g., Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, SPS Commerce), or custom integrations.
- Ability to communicate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of problems and drive them to resolution with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills and experience working in fast-paced,customer-facing environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics environments.
- Familiarity with Nulogy workflows and integrations.
- Exposure to scripting or automation tools used in data transformation (e.g., XML, JSON, SQL).
- Prior experience supporting multi-system integration environments
