About the Role:
Midwestern IT is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or grow their career in business analysis while contributing to real business solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and objectives
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and objectives
Analyse business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement
Translate business requirements into clear, actionable user stories or documentation
Develop functional specifications and use cases
Conduct market and competitor research as needed
Support project management activities including planning, testing, and implementation
Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate insights
Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather requirements and present findings
Work with IT, operations, and other teams to implement recommended solutions
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Science and Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or related field
Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI)
Experience with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Confluence)
Skills & Competencies:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Knowledge of business process modelling and notation (BPMN) is a plus
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred
