Job Title: Data Analyst (GIS & Cityworks)
Hybrid In: Woodbridge, VA 
Length: 6 month contract to hire
Pay Rate: $50-$60/hour W2

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a skilled Data Analyst specializing in GIS and Cityworks to support asset management systems. The role involves managing spatial and tabular data, developing reports, automating tasks, and supporting GIS infrastructure to optimize water utility operations.

Responsibilities:
• Manage and support GIS and Cityworks software applications for asset registries and reporting
• Develop and analyze spatial and tabular visualizations and reports from GIS and Cityworks data
• Create and maintain spatial database tables for analysis and mapping
• Support GIS database versioning workflows and demonstrate SDE data flows
• Develop scripts using Python and PSQL for automation and data processing
• Support installation, configuration, and administration of ArcGIS desktop software and services
• Validate GIS and CMMS data against business logic related to water distribution networks
• Lead GIS and asset management projects, including risk identification, task breakdown, and project facilitation

Core Skills (Must-Haves):
• Proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Server, and Trimble Cityworks
• Experience developing spatial database tables and performing advanced spatial and tabular data analysis
• Strong scripting skills in Python and PSQL for automation
• Knowledge of SQL tools such as SQL Developer, TOAD, or SQLPlus
• Ability to publish GIS services and share content via ArcGIS Online or Portal
• Experience supporting GIS infrastructure and validating GIS or CMMS data
• 3+ years relevant experience, preferably within a water utility
• Associate’s degree in Geography, GIS, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

Education:
• Associate’s degree or higher in relevant fields such as Geography, GIS, Engineering, or Computer Science
