SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Functional Consultant - Multiple Openings

Location: 100% Remote with Travel (Candidates within 2-3 hours of worksite are a plus)
Clearance: U.S. Citizen, eligible for Public Trust
Travel: 25-50%
Contract: Long-term
Experience Level: Senior (7-10 years) and Mid-Level (5-7 years)
Description:
Join TEKsystems in support of a defense client as an SAP EWM Functional Consultant. There are multiple openings (10+), and pay will align with experience level. You'll provide expertise for SAP EWM projects, including analyzing business requirements, configuring EWM modules, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for SAP EWM implementation.
  • Perform hands-on configuration of SAP EWM modules based on client needs.
  • Customize SAP EWM for transportation zones, carrier profiles, rates, and optimization rules.
  • Develop test scenarios and conduct functional testing to ensure proper functionality.
  • Identify and resolve issues during testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Create user manuals, configuration guides, and training materials.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, developers, and functional consultants for seamless integration with ECC or S/4HANA.
  • Provide timely support and resolution for SAP EWM-related issues.
  • Participate in end-to-end testing and go-live activities.
  • Document business requirements, specifications, and test scripts throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in logistics, distribution, MIS, IT, or related field.
  • 7-10 years of SAP EWM functional experience with hands-on configuration (Sr Level).
  • Ability to travel 25-50%.
  • U.S. citizenship and eligibility for Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with SAP Activate or ASAP methodology.
  • Strong understanding of logistics processes and transportation management concepts.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This is a Contract position based out of New Cumberland, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $100.00/hr.
