Job Details

Title: Cloud Infrastructure Test Engineer
Location: Dallas, Texas (onsite)
Duration: 1 year

Location: Remote is okay/Texas preferred.


Job description:
Design and execute benchmark tests for cloud infrastructure components such as CPU, memory, storage, network throughput/latency.
Design and deliver Kubernetes based cloud test solution for application scalability and impairment
Analyze benchmark data to identify issues, optimization, and opportunities.
Analyze resiliency test results and provide the metrics/detail for application vendor and customer for optimization opportunities.
Be well versed with Kubernetes installers and provisioning template such as Helm Charts for automated application provisioning
Integrate Kubernetes metrics collection into Spirent Cloud Sure tool
Work closely with customer and application vendor teams understanding their architecture and operation to derive valuable test cases for scalability and impairment
Work closely with Spirent's Product Management, Solution Engineering and Project Management team
Provide periodic updates and other metrics, as requested
Preferred to have worked in Telecom industry in Infrastructure/Cloud space involving mobility network applications (4G/5G)

Required to have experience with Spirent Cloud Sure testing tool Skills:
Kubernetes Cloud Testing
Experience with Kubernetes networking and monitoring
Linux/Ubuntu knowledge, coding language Python and bash scripting
Good networking knowledge like ARP, TCP/IP and switching
Knowledge in time series data base (preferred)
Knowledge of Spirent Landslide (preferred)
