Senior Software Engineer

ST RXR Investments LLC, is a fast growing Hedge Fund based out of Miami, FL. We specialize in equities and options trading with a focus on high frequency trading. We are seeking a talented Senior software engineer to join our dynamic team. As the Senior software engineer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining our proprietary front end order entry and execution algorithms. You will collaborate closely with the Chief Investment Officer and other team members to create and implement innovative solutions that drive our investment and high frequency trading strategies forward.

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Software development.
• 5+ Years experience in full stack development.
• Knowledge of Python, C++, JAVA.
• GUI/UI/UX Design experience is a must.
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms as it relates to financial markets.
• Understanding of equities and equity options.
• Familiarity with quantitative finance, trading concepts and trading terminology is a plus.
• Familiarity with Interactive Brokers platform API is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly under Chief Investment Officer to design and develop high-performance high speed, automated, trading systems using Python.
• Create a graphical user interface for day traders to use.
• Provide full stack development and analysis for a desktop trade insertion application to streamline trading strategies and speed up efficiency of trade executions.
• Optimize trading algorithms for speed and efficiency.
• Develop front end interface using Interactive Brokers backend API for order entry algorithms.
• Maintain and improve trading systems as required.
