Senior Avionics, Cabin & Network Systems Design Engineer (Level 4)
Location: Everett, WA
Duration: 6+Months
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced engineers to join our Avionics, Cabin, and Network Systems Design teams. These roles are critical to the full aircraft lifecycle, including research, design, analysis, build, certification, delivery, and in-service support for Commercial Airplanes.
Senior-level engineers (Level 4) are expected to demonstrate deep technical expertise in one or more electronic systems, strong process knowledge, and the ability to lead teams of engineers toward common goals.

Senior Avionics, Cabin & Network Systems Design Engineer (Level 4)

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and documentation of complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
- Translate requirements into system architecture, hardware/software designs, and interface specifications.
- Oversee and coordinate testing and validation to ensure systems meet operational and functional requirements.
- Monitor and guide supplier performance to ensure integration and compliance with requirements.
- Provide lifecycle support for fielded hardware and software, including troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and certification standards (ARP4754A, DO-178, DO-254).
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies for potential application to business needs.
- Recommend technology investments to support future programs.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science from an accredited institution.
- Experience in electrical design or systems engineering, with emphasis on electronic/electrical systems design and analysis.
- Hands-on experience with validation and verification processes.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
- 3+ years of related work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of related work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Background in avionics design and related fields within the avionics industry.
- Experience with Flight Management Systems (FMS).
- Pilot's license and/or flight deck experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Prior avionics industry experience is highly desirable.

- This position is for 1st shift.
