R&D Sterile Disposables Engineer Co-Op

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role are to:
  • Support design, development, and/or implementation of new sterile disposable product designs utilized in radiology and cardiovascular medical procedures;
  • Conduct or support testing in a R&D lab environment to verify concept product designs;
  • Research new technologies associated with sterile medical disposable products;
  • Support verification / validation testing of production intent products using novel product designs;
  • Create various designhistory file documentation throughout the product development process including technical assessments, test protocols / reports, and various engineering documentation.

WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be in an pursing a Bachelors or Graduate degree in Engineering with a focus in Plastics, Mechanical, Biomedical, Bioengineering, Chemical or related field;
  • Must be actively entering into Junior through Graduate student.
  • Attention to detail, goal seeker, and demonstrated strong work ethic;
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools MS Visio, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately between $23.20 to $44.20. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. This salary (or salary range) is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant's location, market data/ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
