**Opportunity Overview:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer for one of our valued clients. This critical role involves the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's enterprise infrastructure, including networks, telecommunications, servers, storage, and software systems. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering teams to establish best practices, evaluate vendor products, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, implement, and maintain the enterprise infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to adhere to best practices and standards in infrastructure management.
- Assess and recommend vendor products, ensuring they align with the organization's IT strategy.
- Adjust and refine vendor-supplied utilities for seamless integration into the existing infrastructure.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation for a range of systems and software applications.
- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of IT services.
- Develop infrastructure solutions that are both scalable and cost-effective, prioritizing security and efficiency.
- Provide expert support for escalated issues, assisting in the swift resolution of infrastructure-related problems.
- Engage in strategic planning for network systems, including risk assessment and capacity planning.
- Contribute to the management of vendor service agreements, optimizing the procurement of network and telecommunications services.

**Candidate Profile:**
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in an Infrastructure or related technical role, with a demonstrated track record of managing complex IT systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge of telecommunications, networking, security protocols, and infrastructure technologies.
- Proven ability in the design, implementation, and optimization of IT systems.
- Experience with Cisco routing and switching, as well as Azure networking technologies.
- Familiarity with ITIL concepts; ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
