Job Title: NetSuite Architect
Location: Remote (US-Based)
Job Type: Long-Term Contract

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced NetSuite Architect to join our team. This is a critical technical role requiring a deep understanding of NetSuite’s advanced features—particularly the Advanced Revenue Module (ARM)—and the ability to lead the design, development, and optimization of NetSuite implementations and integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and implement scalable solutions using NetSuite native features, with a primary focus on Advanced Revenue Management (ARM).
  • Design and document system configurations, custom scripts, and integrations, with emphasis on record structures, RESTlets, and scripting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
  • Own the revenue recognition function and ensure alignment with business needs and compliance standards.
  • Partner closely with QA teams to support comprehensive test planning and execution for a wide variety of use cases.
  • Participate across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Analyze existing implementations and identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and increased efficiency.
  • Engage with stakeholders at multiple levels, including technical teams, business users, and senior management, to deliver high-impact solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience specifically with NetSuite.
  • Proven experience with the Advanced Revenue Module (ARM), item catalog structuring, and NetSuite record management.
  • In-depth understanding of revenue recognition principles and how they are supported in NetSuite.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clear and effective functional and design documentation.
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite SuiteScript, RESTlets, and integration approaches.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using GitHub and JIRA for code management and task tracking.
  • One or more NetSuite certifications (e.g., NetSuite ERP Consultant, SuiteCloud Developer) strongly preferred.
  • Background in technical leadership or mentoring within NetSuite implementation teams is a plus.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and modern SDLC practices.
