Job Details
We have Contract role Service Technical Support for our client at Forest, MS. Please let me know if you or any of your friends would be interested in this position.
 
Position Details: Service Technical Support - Forest, MS Location                            : Forest, MS, 39074 -(On-site) Project Duration           : 2+ years of contract Pay rate                            : $ 30.00- $ 34 an hour on W2 
 Description:
- Responsible for the calibration, adjustments, and repair of various types of electronic test equipment.
- Solves problems requiring a depth of knowledge of calibration, metrology principles, and preventative maintenance techniques.
- Recommends corrective actions resulting in solutions that are cost effective and enhance the process.
- Uses daily work schedules to appropriately factor volume, priority, customer expectations, and service center goals into decision making processes.
- Maximizes the use of existing assets, multi-tasks effectively, and ensures resources are used properly.
 
Requirements:
- Prior experience is strongly preferred. Applicant should have at least 1 year of related experience in the calibration and repair of electronic test equipment.
- This position requires some education, specialized training/certification, or Military experience.
- PC (MS Windows/Office) skills are a required.
- Requires excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Demonstrates electronic and mechanical competence.
- Works with clearly defined objectives on customer service assignments that may be repetitive in nature.
- Solves technical problems of limited scope and complexity.
- Performs adjustments, calibrations.
- Provides consistent, solid contribution to team and service center delivery goals.
- Exercises good discretion in the use of time and other *** resources. Maximizes the use of existing assets and ensures *** resources are used properly.
- Maintains high workmanship standards and delivers on commitments
- Communicates effectively with internal and external customers. May initiate customer interaction as appropriate. Escalates issues through appropriate channels when necessary. This is done verbally or via written correspondence.
