Job Details

Title: SAP Service Management (SM) Consultant
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Remote - PST work hours


The consultant needs to have the SAP background and experience. We are lean here, so the expectation is that the individual is willing to support the following:
1. Production Support Tickets (involves interaction with our business partners, problem solving skills - troubleshooting, analysis, resolution - which could include configuration changes or development. Please note that development belongs to our technical team, but the candidate would need to partner with a technical counterpart, develop functional specifications, test, etc.)
2. Support Change Requests (involves interaction with our business partners, analysis, design, configuration, partnering with technical team or any other cross functional team to provide a solution for the change requested). Change requests are typically small enhancements that are completed within a month.
3. Lead or Support Projects (involves interaction with our business partners, analysis, design, configuration, partnering with technical team or any other cross functional team to provide a robust solution for the project requested).

SAP Service Management (SM) Consultant/Skills
Consultant should be good at warranty / Whole unit exchange / Whole unit repair / Service notification / Service order process including SAP configuration .
Having an OTC skill is a plus at least manage the concepts / high level configuration.
Should have good communication skills and should be able to run the project independently by communicating with business / Technical team efficiently.
Advanced knowledge on - Notification, Service orders, Warranty, and billing.
Expert knowledge on Contracts -Value/Quantity/Service.
Worked on revenue recognition, Repair order process.
Customer service master data - Equipment master, warranty master, functional location, counters etc.
Knowledge on Idoc - setup of partner profile, creating segments, testing idocs.
Worked on Interfaces with both SAP and no SAP systems.
Strong in-depth experience In Logistics Execution, EDI/Idoc Integration, Warehouse Management / Shipping and system integration areas.
Able to analyse business requirements, providing conceptual and detail design to meet business needs, performing necessary SAP configurations, writing detail specifications for development of ABAP custom programs, testing, and implementing the automated solution.
