Job Title: Senior Cloud/Platform Engineer

Location: Remote

The Role
This Cloud Engineer role focuses on building and operating large-scale container management platforms using modern cloud-native technologies. The position centers on designing, developing, and extending Kubernetes-based systems, including custom operators and resources, to support highly scalable and resilient applications. The work emphasizes hands-on engineering, open-source collaboration, and continuous improvement within a modern DevOps environment.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of software or cloud engineering experience, with strong proficiency in Go, Kubernetes core concepts, and cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure. The role requires experience building scalable cloud applications, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and applying solid software engineering best practices. Familiarity with GitOps tooling such as ArgoCD is a plus, along with strong communication skills and the ability to partner with technical and business stakeholders to drive platform adoption and architectural excellence.

Top Skills

  • Any type of backend/microservices experience (such as Java or Python) is acceptable as long as they are good in Kubernetes.
  • Experience creating Helm Charts, K8's etc.
