Role:
As a ServiceNow reporting analyst, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reports and dashboards
Role Accountabilities:
- Report Development: Design, develop, and maintain custom reports and dashboards using ServiceNow Performance Analytics and other reporting tools.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data trends, patterns, and outliers to identify insights and opportunities for process improvement.
- Data Integration: Work with data sources across the organization to integrate data into ServiceNow for reporting purposes.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of reports by performing regular data validation and quality checks.
- Documentation: Document report specifications, data sources, and data definitions to ensure clarity and consistency.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on report usage, best practices, and troubleshooting.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in reporting and analytics and recommend improvements to reporting processes and tools.
Qualifications & Experiences:
- Experience with ServiceNow reporting tools, including Performance Analytics, Reporting APIs, and CMDB Query Builder.
- Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation languages.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Not Required but preferred experience:
- Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and workflows.
- Experience with Application Portfolio Management (APM) processes and workflows.
- ServiceNow and/or ITIL certification(s)
