Job Details
Responsibilities -
+ Design and develop electrical systems for MEP projects, including power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems
+ Collaborate with mechanical and plumbing engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure coordinated, code-compliant designs
+ Perform calculations and analyses for load assessments, short circuit analysis, voltage drop, and energy efficiency
+ Prepare construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates
+ Conduct site visits and inspections to support compliance and project delivery
+ Stay up to date with industry codes, standards, and innovations
Qualifications -
+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
+ PE license preferred (or working toward licensure)
+ 3+ years of experience in MEP design
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software (SKM, ETAP, or similar)
+ Strong knowledge of NEC, local codes, and industry standards
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills
