Position Overview

Third Shift: 6 PM to 3 AM
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on IT support for both the distribution center and front office environments in Etna, OH. This is an onsite role that requires a proactive individual with strong technical troubleshooting abilities and a customer-focused mindset. The ideal candidate will have experience in hardware configuration, device imaging, and peripheral support, and be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite technical support for end-user hardware and software issues across the distribution center and office spaces.
  • Image and configure laptops and desktops, following standardized setup procedures (e.g., Matt Brunnegraff's laptop configuration model).
  • Set up, configure, and troubleshoot RF (Radio Frequency) devices used in warehouse operations.
  • Install, maintain, and replace printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices.
  • Perform cable management and hardware installations as needed.
  • Assist with deployment and configuration of new devices for end-users.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support activities, device inventory, and configurations.
  • Collaborate with remote IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance of IT systems and endpoints.

Required Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in onsite IT support, desktop support, or field technician roles.
  • Proficiency in imaging and configuring laptops, desktops, and RF devices.
  • Hands-on experience with printer troubleshooting and hardware replacement.
  • Ability to work independently and remain onsite for extended periods.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Reliable transportation to commute to Etna, OH.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with device deployment and refresh projects.
  • Familiarity with cable management and installation.
  • Basic networking knowledge and troubleshooting.
  • Experience working in a distribution or warehouse environment.

Work Environment

  • Onsite role at a distribution center and office location.
  • Fast-paced, hands-on technical environment.
  • Physical activity may be required, including lifting and moving equipment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
