looking for Gis developer/analyst/consultant for my client Cognizant/charter comm at charlotte,NC

We are seeking a skilled GIS Developer with strong expertise in Esri ArcGIS technologies to design, develop, and implement geospatial solutions that support business and operational needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in GIS application development, spatial data analysis, and geodatabase management, along with proficiency in Python scripting, REST APIs, and web mapping frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain GIS-based web and desktop applications using the ArcGIS platform (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Server).

  • Create and manage geodatabases (File, Enterprise, and SDE) ensuring data integrity, consistency, and security.

  • Develop custom geoprocessing tools and scripts using Python (ArcPy) and ModelBuilder to automate spatial workflows.

  • Integrate GIS applications with other enterprise systems through ArcGIS REST API, JavaScript API, and Python APIs.

  • Build and deploy interactive web maps and dashboards using ArcGIS Web AppBuilder, Experience Builder, and ArcGIS Dashboards.

  • Perform spatial analysis, data visualization, and geospatial modeling to support business intelligence and decision-making.

  • Maintain and optimize map services, feature services, and image services hosted on ArcGIS Server or ArcGIS Online.

  • Collaborate with data analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver geospatial solutions.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to GIS applications, services, and integrations.

  • Document workflows, maintain metadata, and ensure compliance with geospatial data standards.
