Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and solutions that support business objectives. In this role, you’ll collaborate with stakeholders to implement data integrations, ensure data quality, and optimize performance for analytical workloads.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Develop and maintain ETL processes and data pipelines.
  • Design and optimize databases, queries, and data models.
  • Build and manage data integrations across systems for consistency and accuracy.
  • Monitor workflows, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data quality.
  • Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver solutions.
  • Stay current with modern data technologies and best practices.

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of relevant experience with data engineering.
  • Strong SQL and database management background.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica) and big data frameworks (Hadoop, Hive, Spark).
  • Proficiency in Python or Scala preferred
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and data services.
  • Familiarity with code deployment/versioning tools (GitHub, Artifactory, uDeploy).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in Agile environments and mentor junior engineers.

Preferred

  • Experience with data science, analytics, or machine learning concepts.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing and modeling.

Location: This position is a hybrid role in Pittsburgh, PA.
