Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer with strong expertise in Angular (v16+) to join our high-visibility team supporting Client s Card site Pre-Approval & Upmarket space (Venture X, Savor, and other high-value credit cards). This area is critical as it directly impacts customer acquisition and brand experience, with millions of users accessing the platform.
The engineer will be responsible for delivering high-quality, bug-free code in a full CI/CD environment with no QA team, ensuring that every deployment is production-ready. This role requires a self-sufficient engineer who can own tasks end-to-end from development and testing to deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable Angular front-end applications (currently on Angular 18, moving to 20).
Write unit and end-to-end (E2E) tests (experience with Playwright or similar frameworks preferred).
Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality, maintainability, and performance.
Work closely with tech leads, product owners, and other engineers to deliver features with minimal defects.
Navigate and integrate with CMS systems (Chariot experience is a plus) to support content-driven features.
Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment, attending ceremonies and contributing to team goals.
Take ownership of assigned tickets, ensuring code is tested, edge cases are covered, and deployments succeed through the pipeline.
Required Skills
5+ years of Front-End Development experience, with at least 3+ years in Angular (v16+).
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
Experience with unit and end-to-end testing (Playwright, Cypress, Jasmine, Karma, or similar).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or other tools).
Experience working in a self-sufficient role with no dedicated QA.
Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code in a high-traffic, production environment.
Nice-to-Have Skills
AWS cloud experience.
Familiarity with CMS platforms (especially Chariot).
Prior experience in financial services or high-traffic consumer applications.
