TELECOM experience IS A MUST

Our team is looking for an engineer for our internal Modem diagnostics application and post processing (VZ Internal Tool) application customer support with telecom terminology and technology knowledge. We are looking for an engineer to support our growing team with customer support for our application to validate, evaluate and access the feedback requirements and issues customers are reporting. This engineer will do tier 1 support and marketing content creation with to help our customer by gathering customer feedback, requirements and issues to evaluate the priority and urgency and communicate to internal developer team into Jira system to follow up with various cross functional teams. Ideal candidate does require to have basic 5G NR SA, NSA and LTE KPIs and features knowledge and willing learn the newer technologies to convert that technological task into creating a user story for marketing materials for users. This role will be responsible for planning, developing, executing and creating marketing content for our application with new telecom features and services. The individual will collaborate with various teams across internally and externally to identify the impacts of test requirements and improve the overall quality of the final deliverables. As a technical expert, this person will possess strong communication skills and will be expected to partner with business and technical groups in order to anticipate the effects of testing and bring timely resolution to critical issues and to contribute towards the team's continual process improvement. Engineer will also provide industry knowledge regarding test strategy development, test R&D activities, and technical support when applicable.

Qualifications:

  • 6-8 years related experience as customer support in telecom industry
  • Experience in communicating with customers on gathering information, feedback and working internally to resolve those in timely manner
  • Very good understanding of telecom KPIs, measurement and new technology
  • Experience with data conversion and migration
  • Expert in creating simplified marketing materials, customer facing and defect tracking & resolution
  • Experience with JIRA and other leading Test tools
  • Good to have experience or working knowledge of tools like QXDM, Actix or X -Cal
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, business communication, content creation in telecom
  • Excellent communication skills, writing ability, and digital savviness
  • Experience working with US based clients
  • Exceptional written and visual communication skills
  • A good team player with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

Education, Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, telecommunications, information technology, or similar field preferred
  • Telecom log collection tools like QXDM, X-Cal or similar experience is a plus
  • Customer interaction and creating technical documents for customer needs a plus
  • 6-8 years experience as a telecommunications specialist
