Job Details
Job Title: Global License Analyst / License Compliance Analyst I
Location: Remote (Must align with Eastern US time zone)
Contract Duration: 3 Months (Potential for Extension)
Role Summary:
As a Global License Analyst (GLA), you will support the Global Licensing team by analyzing software inventory, licensing records, and usage analytics. Your insights will help client affirm customer requirements, identify compliance risks, and protect intellectual property. You ll play a key role in enabling Named Accounts growth through data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.
Must-Have Skills:
- Data Visualization & Reporting Tools:
- Proficiency in Power BI, Looker, or similar dashboard tools
- Experience creating engaging, actionable dashboards and reports
- Microsoft Office Suite: Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
- Cloud & Tech Stack Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
- Data Analysis: Strong statistical analysis skills, predictive modeling, and data profiling
- Ability to work independently with complex datasets and deliver insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze customer licensing records and inventory data to generate detailed reports
- Identify license violations or non-compliance using network analytics and profiling
- Assist Global License Managers (GLMs) with customer data reviews and internal documentation
- Work closely with the BI team to improve dashboard reporting and usability
- Support QBR reporting, Salesforce reporting dashboards, and GLM case queue workflows
- Collaborate with global internal teams, including Sales Automation, to support process and system improvements
- Engage in internal and occasional customer-facing calls to present findings and insights
Typical Week Includes:
- Managing and prioritizing license analysis case queues
- Regular syncs with GLMs for data reviews and reporting
- Collaboration with BI and Sales Automation teams for reporting improvements
- Ad-hoc customer support and documentation updates

- Strong understanding of licensing and software asset management tools
- Cultural sensitivity and adaptability in global team settings
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related discipline
- 3+ years of experience in an analytics and/or administrative role
- Experience in licensing, asset management, or working with customer inventory data preferred

- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
- Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborative team player with flexibility in a global, fast-paced environment.
