Summary:
We are looking for a technical writer to create content for developers describing code samples and language syntax. You also help convert legacy documentation into a more modern markdown-based framework. You work in a fast-paced environment, improving our existing documentation and reference content, while ensuring quality and consistency. In this position, you apply your content strategy and organizational skills to keep existing documentation relevant, fresh, and accurate.
Product, engineering, UX, and Support colleagues value documentation role in customer success; they advocate strong for innovative, thorough, customer-centric docs. You also collaborate with a small but mighty pod of writers in an Agile work environment.
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $60.00 - $65.00/hr. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, 10 paid days off, 401(k) plan participation, commuter benefits and life and disability insurance.

Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in a STEM field, English, Journalism, or similar
- Demonstrated English writing skills with samples for a developer audience
- 4+ years of experience interpreting and documenting code
- Ability to work on multiple projects at once
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Strong content strategy skills with a customer advocacy mindset
- Great people and communication skills
- Object oriented programming: Apex or Java
- Component-based UI development
- Writing for a highly technical developer audience
- Source control software such as Perforce and Git
- Markdown-based publishing
