Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Scrum Master with extensive experience leading Agile teams in complex, enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will be a servant leader who promotes Agile values, mentors junior Scrum Masters, facilitates team collaboration, and ensures high-quality delivery. This role will drive Agile excellence across multiple teams and collaborate closely with Product Owners, Release Managers, and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coach multiple Agile teams (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe).
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Mentor junior Scrum Masters and team members in Agile practices.
- Guide teams in Agile/Lean best practices and drive continuous improvement.
- Resolve team impediments and facilitate collaboration across teams and departments.
- Work with Product Owners to ensure effective backlog grooming and prioritization.
- Monitor and report on team progress using Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown, lead time).
- Champion Agile transformation and support enterprise-level Agile adoption.
- Engage with stakeholders to align delivery with business goals.
- Foster a high-performing, self-organizing, cross-functional team culture.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Agile/Scrum roles, including 3+ years as a Senior Scrum Master.
- Strong experience in Scaled Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS, Nexus).
- Advanced certifications preferred:
- Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)
- SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or Advanced Scrum Master (A-CSM)
- ICAgile, PMI-ACP, or equivalent Agile certifications
- Proven experience working with JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile tools.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to influence without authority and manage stakeholder expectations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in large-scale Agile transformations.
- Technical background or experience in DevOps, CI/CD, or Cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of metrics-driven coaching and Agile maturity assessments.
