Palo Alto Firewall Engineer Permanent Job in Franklin, TN

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will also collaborate on projects aimed at researching, planning, designing, and implementing new solutions to support our technology initiatives. Our Network Team is at the heart of our mission to impact millions of lives across the nation. We work hand in hand with our Content Delivery, Broadcast & Studio Engineering teams to make sure our listeners can receive their daily dose of encouragement through K-LOVE & Air1. Additionally, we keep our business infrastructure running smoothly, enabling our organization to thrive.

Here's some experience we are seeking:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network firewalls, Palo Alto (must have), Cisco ASAs and Cisco FTDs.
• We are looking for someone that has a minimum of 5 years of in-depth Cisco routing and switching, with experience designing, evaluating, and recommending networking solutions, both Catalyst and Nexus.
• Hands on experience with F5 Load Balancers.
• Hands on experience with Aruba switches, routers, and wireless.
• Knowledge of EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS and HSRP environments.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with Solar Winds Orion network monitoring solution.
• Knowledge of IP traffic flow, protocol analysis, and capturing and monitoring of live traffic streams.
• Familiarity with mission critical systems, information services, data security and video convergence.

*This position is based in our Franklin, Tennessee location with 3/4 days on-site with travel to our other sites when needed.

A little more about this opportunity:

• Configure and assist with the implementation of network hardware, including routers, switches, wireless, and firewalls.
• Troubleshoot and problem solve for business network, VoIP, and related system issues.
• Plan, design, implement and support LAN and Wan.
• Create and maintain network documentation as it relates to network topology, equipment, and configuration.
• Will provide 24x7 support for all Infrastructure systems. Participate in on-call rotation.
• Travel to support other sites when necessary.
