Permanent role for Healthcare IT Delivery Leader

Summary:

SeasonedHealthcare IT Delivery Leader with over 18 years of industry experience to lead strategic IT programs across the healthcare provider space. This individual will play a key role in executing digital transformation initiatives, integrating COTS products, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, and patient engagement platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of IT solutions across healthcare provider and payor organizations, ensuring alignment with clinical, operational, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide thought leadership in the healthcare provider and payor domain.
• Drive digital transformation initiatives, including EHR/EMR modernization, patient engagement platforms, interoperability, and data analytics solutions.
• Oversee deployment and integration of COTS products (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, Salesforce Health Cloud) within complex healthcare IT ecosystems.
• Experience in AI & Automation space leveraging best of the industry RPA tools like UiPath, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere and others.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and other healthcare data privacy and security standards.
• Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and technical teams to improve care delivery through innovative IT solutions.
• Define program roadmaps, manage delivery timelines and budgets, and mitigate project risks across multiple stakeholders and vendors.
• Champion interoperability and data exchange initiatives (e.g., HL7, FHIR, APIs) to enable seamless care coordination.
• Build and lead high-performing IT teams and delivery partners to achieve organizational objectives.
• Manage project and portfolio budgets, optimize cost efficiency, and manageportfolio P&L.

Required Qualifications:

• 18+ years of progressive experience in IT delivery and leadership roles, with 10+ years in the US healthcare sector.
• Deep experience working in the provider space, with a solid understanding of clinical workflows, patient data, and healthcare IT systems.
• Proven track record of implementing COTS healthcare solutions (EHRs, revenue cycle systems, care management platforms, etc.).
• Strong grasp of HIPAA regulations, healthcare compliance, and security best practices.
• Experience with large-scale digital transformation programs, cloud adoption, and modern architecture patterns (e.g., microservices, APIs).
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and vendor coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with value-based care initiatives, population health, or telehealth platforms.
• Familiarity with federal programs like CMS interoperability rules, MIPS/MACRA, and ONC standards.
• Certifications such as PMP, CPHIMS, or HITRUST are a plus.
