Job Description:
  • The Salesforce/Dynamics CRM Enterprise Architect will provide technical leadership and architectural oversight across federal, provincial, or public sector healthcare programs.
  • This role ensures vendor deliverables for Salesforce and Dynamics CRM solutions align with client enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, and long-term digital strategy.
  • The Architect will work closely with business stakeholders, ministry teams, and vendor partners to validate Alpha deliverables, guide solution design, and support the transition to Beta/MVP implementations.
Responsibilities:
  • Review and validate vendor Alpha deliverables (information architecture, data models, conceptual solution architecture, outcomes reporting) to ensure compliance with client enterprise standards (TRA, GO-ITS, GovTechON).
  • Provide architectural guidance on Salesforce and Dynamics CRM data, security, sharing, and integration models, including single-org vs. multi-org strategies.
  • Establish platform guardrails to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and interoperable.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, ministry stakeholders, and vendor teams to align technical solutions with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare decision-ready architecture documentation and recommendations for governance bodies (Architecture Review Board, PSC, JESC, TB/MBC).
  • Anticipate architectural risks, propose mitigation strategies, and maintain continuity of knowledge between Alpha and Beta phases.
  • Act as senior technical advisor to ensure vendor work aligns with long-term enterprise architecture priorities and digital strategy.
  • Provide guidance on Salesforce (LWCs, Apex, Flows, OmniStudio/Vlocity, MuleSoft) and Dynamics CRM (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) implementations.
  • Oversee solution design, integrations, mobile access, and identity/security considerations to meet enterprise and regulatory standards.
  • Facilitate technical governance, solution reviews, and architecture checkpoints to ensure Alpha outputs are reusable and buildable in Beta.
Required Experience and Skills:
  • 10+ years of experience in Salesforce and Dynamics CRM solution architecture, design, and delivery.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting public sector healthcare programs with enterprise system review and guidance.
  • Expertise in Salesforce multi-cloud solutions (Sales, Service, Experience, Public Sector Solutions) and Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
  • Strong understanding of hybrid and multi-cloud architectures, integrations (MuleSoft, REST/SOAP APIs), and identity/access management (SSO, MFA, PKI, OAuth/JWT).
  • Knowledge of public sector enterprise architecture standards and practices (TRA, GovTechON, GO-ITS) and health interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7, SNOMED-CT, LOINC, ICD-10).
  • Proven experience preparing decision-ready architecture documentation for governance bodies.
  • Strong Agile experience with the ability to review vendor sprint deliverables and guide MVP prioritization.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, navigate complex governance, and provide defensible architectural recommendations.
Education:
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master s degree preferred).
