Job Description:
Title: GCCH SharePoint Consultant
Location: REMOTE
Duration: Long Term
Job Summary:
We're seeking a highly skilled GCCH SharePoint Consultant to join our team, specializing in designing, developing, and implementing SharePoint solutions within the Government Community Cloud High (GCCH) environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SharePoint, GCCH compliance requirements, and experience working with government agencies or contractors handling sensitive data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Implement GCCH SharePoint Solutions: Develop and deploy SharePoint solutions that meet strict regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements for US Department of Defense (DoD) contractors and organizations handling sensitive government data.
- Ensure Compliance and Security: Configure SharePoint to adhere to GCCH security standards, restricting internet-connected features and ensuring data protection.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with clients, IT teams, and stakeholders to understand requirements, design solutions, and implement SharePoint configurations.
- Troubleshoot and Optimize: Identify and resolve issues related to SharePoint performance, security, and compliance in the GCCH environment.
Requirements:
- SharePoint Expertise: 5+ years of experience with SharePoint development, configuration, and deployment, with a focus on GCCH environment.
Develops, enhances, tests and supports SharePoint sites, workflows and interfaces that support business units. Support the development of technical solution documentation and training. - Works with end users to develop and modify SharePoint sites. Captures requirements, develops site content framework and SharePoint web parts. Trains end users and updates SharePoint tools and objects in response to evolving user needs.
- Develop solutions to urgent business problems, leveraging existing tools and services wherever possible and otherwise building them as custom applications.
Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of GCCH compliance requirements, NIST SP 800-53 controls, and FIPS 199 High Categorization.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in .NET development, ASP.NET, C#, and experience with workflow products like Nintex.
Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, ability to work with clients, and team-oriented mindset.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with GCCH Environment: Familiarity with GCCH-specific features, limitations, and compliance requirements.
- Certifications: MCSE SharePoint or equivalent certifications, with knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Office 365, and Microsoft Cloud services.
- Previous Government or Defense Experience: Experience working with government agencies, defense contractors, or organizations handling sensitive data
