The Fire Department of the City of New York (FDNY) is the largest Fire Department in the United States and universally is recognized as the world's busiest and most highly skilled emergency response agency. The Fire Department, City of New York (FDNY), seeks a full-time IT Project Specialist in the Bureau of Technology Development & Systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of ServiceNow. Gathering from end users throughout the Agency, creating & managing stories for development, testing new development workflow, approving for move to Production, UAT & training End Users, & maintaining CMDB of Hardware/Software & Licenses. Manage 1 ServiceNow Admin (consultant) & 3rd party developers (Thirdera). Integrate ServiceNow with IT security tools as needed. Perform all aspects of Change Management, including reviewing change requests in all states, following up to ensure assessment, approval, implementation & review are completed within the scheduled start & end dates of the change request. Run the Change Advisory Board weekly meetings. Manage Assets from receipt to relinquishment, ensuring they are tagged & updated in ServiceNow as they move through their life cycle. Manage Grant assets in GTS to ensure compliance. Manage repair of assets with vendor for both warranty & out of warranty. Initiate, coordinate & supervise IT Asset audits throughout the Agency. Manage software licenses in ServiceNow.Manage 3 Asset Management full-time employees (Stockworker, Supervising Stockworker, Supervisor), directing daily assignments, assigning tasks, training. Manage all aspects of the Xerox DCAS EPM Contract. Review monthly invoices, EOS/EOL devices for replacement and work with known device contacts to determine needs, review requests for new printers, update asset records in ServiceNow, review service tickets in Fleet Management Portal to ensure they are being addressed within the agreement, prepare MACDs (moves, add, change, disposal) & send to Xerox to update their records as printers are replaced, disposed & network changes (IP address) are made. Review NAFD (no answer from device) to determine why the device is not being discovered.
**Special Working Conditions: May be required to work shifts including nights, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

Qualifications
1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in computer science, engineering, human computer interaction, interactive media, digital and graphics design, data visualization, communication or a related field, and four years of satisfactory full-time experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position and a specialization in a relevant technology, process, methodology and/or domain; or
2. An associate degree from an accredited college in computer science, engineering, human computer interaction, interactive media, digital and graphics design, data visualization, communication or a related field, and six years of satisfactory full-time experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position and a specialization in a relevant technology, process, methodology and/or domain; or
3. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college, and eight years of satisfactory full-time experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position and a specialization in a relevant technology, process, methodology and/or domain; or
4. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1", "2", or "3" above.
