Senior Mulesoft Developer

Location: Remote Contract

  • We are seeking a highly seasoned and experienced Mulesoft Developer for a 12-month remote contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will possess 10+ years of overall technical development experience with a deep specialization in Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and Mulesoft technologies. You will play a critical role in a current project, leveraging your expertise to design, develop, and deploy robust integration solutions.
    Key Responsibilities
    Design, develop, test, and deploy high-volume, reliable, and scalable integration solutions using the Mulesoft Anypoint Platform.
    Spearhead the development of APIs and integration flows using Anypoint Studio (Mule 3.x and Mule 4).
    Utilize API Manager for the governance, security, and management of APIs.
    Develop API specifications using languages like RAML or OpenAPI (Swagger).
    Collaborate with architects and other developers to ensure the successful delivery of integration projects.
    Perform code reviews, provide technical guidance, and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
    Required Qualifications
    10+ years of progressive experience in software development and integration.
    A minimum of 4 years of dedicated, hands-on development experience with Mulesoft and/or other major ESB platforms.
    Proven proficiency with the Mulesoft Anypoint Platform, including Anypoint Studio, API Manager, and various connectors.
    Expert-level knowledge of Mule 3.x and/or Mule 4 development, including message processing, error handling, and security.
    Strong experience defining and implementing APIs using design-first approaches, specifically with RAML or OpenAPI (Swagger).
    Solid understanding of integration patterns, service-oriented architecture (SOA), and microservices.
    Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
    Desired (Non-Critical) Experience
    Previous experience or familiarity with the Curam social enterprise management platform is a plus, but not required for the role.
