Worldwide Technology is looking for a NSX Architect. This job is part of WWT s Strategic Resourcing services. The candidate will be supporting a WWT customer and will be employed by one of WWT s preferred partners.

Role: NSX Architect

Duration: 3 months contract

Customer Location: Remote must work EST hours

  • Design and Deploy NSX with VMware Cloud Foundation:2
  • Perform the design and deployment of VMware NSX Edge configurations and the Overlay or VLAN backed segment for use with the VMware Cloud Foundation Automation.
  • NSX Federation can optionally be included as appropriate to the design.
  • Up to one (1) NSX Use Case and Overview workshop.
  • VMware NSX Manager Clusters for Management and VI Workload Domains designed and configured as required.
  • VMware NSX Edge Clusters Deployed as required to support the design components.
  • Up to two (2) Application Virtual Networks deployed, one per SDDC Manager instance.
  • Configure NSX Federation between instances as required to support the design components (Optional).
  • Deploy Security Hardening for VMware Cloud Foundation:2
  • Implements security configuration best practices to VMware Cloud Foundation for the following VMware products: vCenter(s), ESX Host(s), SDDC Manager(s), NSX (Manager & Edge Nodes), VCF Automation, VCF Operations, VCF Operations for Logs, and VCF Operations for Networks.3
  • VMware will implement the identified security configuration in the environment and perform post-deployment operational verification.4
  • Includes: Up to (2) vCenter Servers, (1) VCF Operations fleet management Instance, (1) NSX Manager Instances, (2) NSX Edge Clusters, (1) VCF Operations Instance, (1) VCF Operations for Logs Instance, (1) VCF Operations for Networks Instance, (1) VCF Automation Instance, and (1) SDDC Mana

Rate/Salary: A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $90.00 to $95.00 per hourly on C2C. Actual pay will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs, and will be set by your employer. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in base pay.
