Job Description

What You Will Be Doing:

The candidate will serve as the team lead for all facets of configuration control, with primary responsibilities including software configuration management (SCM). Key duties include:

Develop and maintain SCM standards and policies via planning, identification, change management, status accounting, and verification and audits; to ensure the program meets customer requirements are implemented and audited; in compliance with CM policies in accordance with ISO 9001 and Commercial standards EIA-649
Conduct software build audits and automation
Manage SCM change boards and hardware configuration management activities; analyzing proposed hardware and software changes to determine their effect on the overall product and system, tracking change authorization, and preparing reports on the impact of changes
Coordinate Change Requests and TeamCenter Program Data Management (PDM) activities
Participate deployment readiness, initial readiness, and peer reviews
Perform SCM program metrics; SW license tracking; Security Patch Management; Distributed Tracking Records and Workarounds
Develop and maintain SCM tools to support planning, identification, control, reporting, and delivery of internally developed and externally purchased commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software products
Design, develop, automate, and maintain productivity tools using programming, database, and scripting languages to improve SCM modeling and development
Create and implement build procedures to support software product development and use
Train software developers in the use of configuration management tools and software CM quality standards
Maintain the SCM System, including collecting and distributing code documentation, processing problem reports and change requests, and delivering software products to operational environments
Implement long term organizational objectives for software process improvement
Prepare, author and train teammates in Basis of Estimates (BOEs)
Perform Functional Configuration Audits/Physical Configuration Audits (FCAs/PCAs)
Proficient in data (PD-16) markings, formatting, and handling of documentation

Basic Qualifications

Strong Software Configuration Management Principles to lead the program in CM processes and interface across cross-functional leads, engineers, and other stakeholders

Experience in Agile and Dev/Sec/Ops methodologies and tools, such as Subversion, Jenkins, TeamCenter PDM, Git, GitLab, and Atlassian Tools: Confluence and Jira

Strong Basis of Estimates (BOEs) experience
Proficient in scripting languages such as Powershell and batch

Self-starter, capable of effectively managing multiple tasks, and have strong computer skills, with the ability to work well in a teaming environment

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement
