Overview

This is an onsite position in Raleigh, NC.

This position is responsible for providing technical leadership and operational support for the Infrastructure & Associate Technology Asset Management function. Provides expert guidance and mentorship on system technical support, maintenance, and enhancement. Leads the administration of software and hardware that supports customer sales and service applications. Installs, automates, and tests infrastructures for continuous improvement. Monitors overall systems performance to identify potential issues and tune appropriately. Addresses failed components or technical issues and provides resolution. Oversees the work of less experienced associates and serves as a technical resource to wider business unit.

Responsibilities

  • Review hardware requests and perform needs assessments to determine if requests meet FCB hardware standards.
  • Evaluate hardware purchasing requirements through reporting and analysis of inventory data.
  • Perform hands on hardware system configuration, hardware deployment and maintenance, hardware life-cycle management.
  • Ensure hardware requests are reviewed and assigned in a within established service levels and ensure adequate hardware is available for normal and DR business requirements.
  • Assist associates with ordering process and work with Depot & Asset Control, Hardware Asset Management and ITSM teams to report issues with and to enhance/develop systems/workflows for associate requests.
  • Coordinate activities related to asset management, including box pickup requests, termination reclamation, and assist with general equipment requests.
  • Work with IT Service Management, Hardware Asset Management, Depot & Asset Control and other infrastructure teams on process improvement related to the Operational Asset Management functions.
  • Apply current asset controls industry standards for hardware assets.


Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Systems engineer and systems programmer OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Systems engineer and systems programmer

  • Proven experience implementing and knowledge of ServiceNow problem management and hardware asset management module functions and workflows.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team to resolve issues.
  • Active knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Configuration Management/SCCM, and end user experience tools like - SysTrack Lakeside or NextThink.
  • Experience supporting large and regulated finance or banking institutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Experience with supporting and configuring Apple iOS and Mac devices and JAMF tools in a managed corporate environment.
