Job Description
TEK Systems is seeking a Lead Low Voltage Technician to support the rebuild of their Nashville office and assist with ongoing voice, data, and fire alarm work throughout the city. This technician will be responsible for installing, configuring, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing low voltage systems including (but not limited to): Fire Alarms, Access Control, CCTV, Nurse Calls, and Intercom systems.
The ideal candidate will embody integrity, commitment to results, inspire teamwork, and uphold a culture of recognition-while delivering excellent service to both internal and external clients.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.

Key Responsibilities:
- Program, start-up, troubleshoot, and commission new system installations
- Perform point-to-point troubleshooting across multiple low-voltage systems
- Communicate clearly with project leads and clients on progress and challenges
- Assist with installations under guided project direction
- Identify system issues and relay them to the project lead
- Review contracts and design documentation prior to install
- Inspect systems for code compliance and proper function
- Create and submit detailed project reports
- Respond to emergency service requests
- Maintain strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders
- Follow SPM/GM shift assignments-including rotating on-call schedule
- Maintain reliable on-site presence during regular business hours

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in Fire Alarms, Access Control, CCTV, Nurse Call, and Intercom systems
- Technical aptitude with basic computer skills
- Clear verbal and written communication
- Ability to use lifts and ladders exceeding 8 feet
- Skilled in hand tools and multi-meter usage
- Capable of reading technical drawings and manuals
- Works well under a PM structure with minimal supervision
- Follows verbal and written instructions
