EFS Department Information Systems Manager
Salary: $137,541.21 - $167,178.31 Annually

Pioneer innovation and excellence in Enterprise Financial Systems (EFS)! Join Sonoma County's Auditor-Controller-Treasurer-Tax Collector as the EFS Department Information Systems Manager.
In the Auditor-Controller-Treasurer-Tax Collector (ACTTC), the Enterprise Financial Systems (EFS) Support Organization is a close team of both functional and technical professionals dedicated to supporting information systems and customers using budget and planning, as well as financial and supply chain management processes.
Reporting to the EFS Manager, the EFS Department Information Systems Manager (DISM) is responsible for making recommendations based upon their knowledge, experience, and expertise for all technical initiatives. As an EFS DISM, you will also work independently while routinely conferring with appropriate EFS Support Organization members to ensure customer support, along with documentation and system functionality to maintain a high level of quality, functionality, and accessibility.
The ideal candidate will have experience communicating with stakeholders to understand objectives and needs, as well as defining and documenting business requirements for application development, enterprise reporting, and data management. The ideal candidate will also possess experience in many of the following areas:
- Working in a project management environment and the ability to lead projects, or serve as a technical lead to recommend system and process changes to improve efficiencies and integrity
- Account administration (e.g., Active Directory, end-user applications, and VPN), including security compliance monitoring and reporting
- Active Directory administration, including file permissions, security group administration, and Group Policy administration
- Software configuration, troubleshooting, and customer service/service desk experience in a Tier 1 and/or Tier 2 role (including Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365 technical support)
- Experience in Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and Oracle PeopleSoft
- Knowledge of compliance, information security, and general audit guidelines regarding regulatory compliance such as HIPAA and PII
- Supervising or training technical and non-technical staff
