We have an exciting opportunity for an onsite Systems Engineer I to join our Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) directorate in McKinney, Texas. TEE is a multi-discipline organization responsible for contributing to the development of test solutions for all Raytheon products. Typical work involves designing interface assemblies, selection and integration with test instruments and environments, to develop a test system for all Raytheon products including both lab engineering and factory production test systems.
The Systems Engineer I will be responsible for the design development, integration and validation of analysis hardware and software test solutions for multiple production programs using engineering best practices under the guidance of the Team Lead and Section Manager.

The salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. What You Will Do
- Work with hardware, software, and program engineers to design and develop data analysis solutions that place process pass/fail data at multiple build points.
- Implement system software engineering best practices in planning, development, and execution of scope, schedule, and budget
- Effectively communicate technical information in formal design review settings
- Provide hands on support to product testing within an engineering and production test environment
- Share knowledge and provide mentoring to other engineers on the Multi-Functional RF Test Solutions robotics team
- Drive commonality in the teams' solutions
- Adhere to the Section's Software Development Plan (SDP)
- Report program status weekly
- Support the Section Manager and Team Lead in the execution of the RF Technologies department goals
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
- Experience with UNIX / Linux operating environment
- Experience with Bash and/or Perl
- Experience with SQL commands
- Experience with HTML web development
Qualifications We Prefer
- RF Domain Knowledge and experience with processing RF parametric test data
- Knowledge of statistical analysis of data
- Knowledge of the Software Life Cycle
- Solid understanding and experience in Statistical Process Controls
- Experience with Oracle 11g/12c/19c
- Experience with Splunk
