About the Role:
Blu Omega is hiring a Cloud Engineer to join our Business Solutions Practice in Washington, DC. Qualified candidates should have experience designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based environments for the government.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure, including sandbox environment.
- Rapidly provision environment, users, and configuration and available tools/software as needed.
- Optimize cloud resources for performance, cost, and scalability.
- Ensure security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance with industry standards.
- Additional duties as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency with at least one major cloud provider (AWS and/or Azure).
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 10+ years relevant experience.
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with scripting languages and automation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Relevant certifications.
