Position: IBM MQ Admin

Location: Atlanta , GA (Hybrid)

Type : Contract

Detailed Job Description:

• 5+ years of IBM MQ engineering and AWS Cloud experience Plan, troubleshoot and support a migration from IBM MQ to AWS Design architecture and setting up IBM MQ in a way that ensures high availability and fault tolerance.
• Components of an IBM MQ Native
• HA installation on AWS EKS. Ability to provide approach to create comprehensive planning of migrating IBM MQ from on premise hosting to AWS
• MQ Architect with cloud Knowledge. Especially designing and implemented MQ architecture on AWS
• Experience on IBM MQ Native HA container to an Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS) cluster in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud.
• Experience on IBM MQ Advanced
• Experience on Installing RDQM (replicated data queue managers)
• Experience with working on Windows / Linux and Unix Operating Systems
• Experience with Scripting using Power Shell, Cron Jobs, etc.
• Expertise in Installation, configuration, maintenance, administration of IBM WebSphere MQ, which includes creating and configuring IBM MQ Objects like Queue Managers, Remote Queues, Local Queues, and queues Aliases.
• Experience in Implementing security in MQ, debugging MQ connectivity issues, MQ authentication/Authorization
• Ensuring MQ solution meets the latest requirements of MQ Security
• Problem Determination and troubleshooting on MQ, IIB using MQ Error Files, FDC files, Syslog, traces, and monitoring tools
• Implementation of Incident, Change and Problem Management Processes of ITIL.
• Require to play the pivotal role in the technical change lifecycle for MQ, commencing with Detailed Design, Build & Config, Testing Support, Implementation,
• Coordinating and collaborating with Application Team to assist with their MQ Setup.
