Job Title: Controls Engineer
Location: North Carolina

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join our team in North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial automation and control systems, with hands-on experience in troubleshooting, programming, and maintaining PLC systems. This role will primarily support ongoing projects by ensuring optimal performance and reliability of automated systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation systems and control panels.

  • Work with Allen-Bradley PLCs using Ladder Logic for programming and debugging.

  • Assist in system design, integration, and commissioning of control systems.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, mechanical, and process engineers.

  • Maintain accurate documentation for control systems, including schematics, programs, and manuals.

  • Ensure all automation systems meet industry safety and compliance standards.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a Controls or Automation Technician/Engineer role.

  • Proficient with Allen-Bradley hardware and Ladder Logic programming.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with industrial networks and HMI/SCADA systems is a plus.

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field preferred.

Work Environment:

  • Project-based environment with occasional travel to site locations.

  • Must be comfortable working in manufacturing or industrial settings.
