• Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• Minimum 7+ years as a Lead Developer or Development Manager.
• Minimum 5+ years working with technologies such as:
• COBOL
• CA Gen
• Classic ASP
• DB2 for z/OS or Oracle, or other relational databases

• Serve as a developer and subject matter expert on complex financial applications in large-scale, cross-functional projects.
• Ensure development of robust, scalable solutions.
• Oversee and guide quality assurance activities from development through production.
• Provide mentorship and technical support to peers.
• Identify and resolve technical issues using effective troubleshooting techniques.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including process standardization and documentation.
• Collaborate with distributed teams to ensure high-quality project outcomes.
• Maintain current knowledge of emerging trends and technologies relevant to software development.

• Proficiency in:
• DB2 for z/OS, Oracle, or similar relational databases, including strong SQL skills
• Computer Associates CA Gen workstation toolset for web, online, and batch development
• Active Server Pages (Classic ASP), including VB and J-script
• IBM Z-Server, CICS, JCL, and COBOL
• Knowledge of:
• CA Gen Com Proxy service and COBOL integration
• Microsoft Visual Studio/.NET (preferred)
• Experience developing and maintaining systems supporting complex financial business processes.
