Job Title: Senior Blockchain/Backend Engineer Fireblocks Integration
Location: San Francisco

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Blockchain/Backend Engineer with expertise in Fireblocks API integration to join our team. This role involves building secure, scalable wallet and custody solutions for institutional-grade crypto operations. You will work closely with product, security, and compliance teams to ensure robust transaction orchestration and key management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Develop backend services integrating Fireblocks APIs for wallet creation, transaction signing, and custody workflows.
- Implement secure key management using MPC/HSM and enforce multi-sig policies.
- Collaborate with product and compliance teams to define custody workflows and operational controls.
- Monitor on-chain transactions and implement anomaly detection for risk mitigation.
- Optimize performance for high-volume transaction orchestration across multiple blockchains.
- Participate in incident response and operational troubleshooting related to custody and wallet flows.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in backend development (Node.js, Go, Python, or Java).
- Hands-on experience with Fireblocks API integration (wallet orchestration, transaction signing).
- Strong understanding of blockchain protocols, cryptographic principles, and on-chain data analysis.
- Familiarity with HSMs, MPC, and secure key management workflows.
- Experience with REST/gRPC APIs, microservices architecture, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Layer 2 scaling solutions, cross-chain bridges, and zero-knowledge proofs.
- Experience with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2) and institutional custody requirements.
- Familiarity with Web3 libraries (ethers.js, web3.js) and smart contract interaction.
- Exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS/Google Cloud Platform) and observability tools.
