Why you'll love this job:
The Software Asset Management Associate supports and leads efforts to maintain the integrity of DTCC's software compliance. The Lead IT Asset Management Engineer (Senior Associate) will be assigned Continuous Service Improvement (CSI) and Business As Usual (BAU) activities as appropriate to provide day to day support for SAM Compliance Tool(s). Responsibilities include requesting processing, product owner liaison and data reconciliation.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
  • Executes daily activities for the SAM process
  • Manages the group mailbox
  • Manages incoming requests for Software Products and Services
  • Assists with development and generation of reports from SAM Compliance Tool(s)
  • Supports SAM's Vendor Portal Management activities
  • Assists with data normalization and resolution of inconsistencies and data quality issues among the SAM Tools, DRI/SME reporting, the AMDB, CMDB and other applicable reporting
  • Generates regular CSF and critical metrics once identified and approved by SAM Process Owner/Manager
  • Conduct Publisher reviews and identify savings opportunities, optimization, and remediation activities for risk mitigation. For example, identify candidate licenses for harvesting from retired or repurposed assets and identify non-compliant software.
  • Support operational, business as usual (BAU) activities of the program
  • Mitigate risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.

Talents Needed For Success:
  • Minimum of 6 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
Additional Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of Software Asset Management and ITIL framework.
  • 5-7 years' experience with enterprise publishers and vendors; IT or financial industry experience preferred
  • Experience providing comprehensive analysis, reporting, and data normalization at the product and Publisher level
  • Experience and ability to translate case analysis into functional requirements
  • CSAM certification a plus
  • Working knowledge of the Agile Framework and Jira experience a plus
