Job Overview

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced MuleSoft System Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, strong understanding of Salesforce ecosystem, and proven experience architecting microservices-based integration patterns. This role will partner with business and technical teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reusable API-led integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end integration architecture using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, API Manager).
• Design API-led connectivity layers (System, Process, Experience APIs) to enable Salesforce and microservices communication.
• Define and enforce integration standards, reusable assets, and best practices for performance, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with Salesforce architects and microservices teams to ensure seamless data and process integration across platforms.
• Provide technical leadership to developers, reviewing solution designs, Mule flows, DataWeave transformations, and deployment strategies.
• Establish and implement CI/CD pipelines for MuleSoft projects.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and observability frameworks (Splunk, CloudWatch, Anypoint Monitoring).
• Ensure compliance with security and governance policies (OAuth 2.0, JWT, client ID enforcement).
• Act as SME for MuleSoft and integration technologies, guiding stakeholders on design choices and trade-offs.
• Support integration with microservices, SaaS platforms, and legacy systems using APIs, messaging queues, and event-driven patterns.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years in IT with 5+ years focused on integration architecture.
• Strong expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (CloudHub, RTF, API Manager, Exchange, Anypoint Studio).
• Solid understanding of Salesforce platform data model and integration methods (Salesforce APIs, CDC, Platform Events).
• Proven experience designing microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on with DataWeave transformations, error handling frameworks, batch processing, and connectors.
• Deep knowledge of integration patterns (synchronous, asynchronous, pub/sub, messaging).
• Experience in DevOps for MuleSoft - Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform) and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• MuleSoft Architect certification (MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect or Platform Architect) is a strong plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with event streaming platforms (Kafka, AWS SNS/SQS, JMS).
• Background in finance, payments, or high-transaction domains.
• Exposure to API monetization, governance, and lifecycle management.
• Experience integrating with ERP, core banking, or third-party SaaS systems
