Must-Have Qualifications

  • 5+ years (7+ preferred) in software/integration engineering, with lead-level delivery ownership.
  • Retail Wealth domain depth: broker dealers, custodians, family offices/warehouses; trade order management; digital self service/robo.
  • Hands-on API design & development (REST/JSON), microservices, webhooks, batch.
  • Practical security (OAuth2/OIDC, mTLS, secrets mgmt), SSO across WM platforms (e.g., Pershing Wove, Orion Connect, Envestnet).
  • Strong coding in one or more: Java (Spring Boot), .NET (C#), Salesforce (Apex/LWC); plus SQL.
  • Experience building and running integrations on AWS (API Gateway/App Runner/ECS/Lambda), container platforms (OpenShift/PCF), and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of messaging/event and schema management; familiarity with Kafka a plus.

  • Knowledge of billing/commission for UMA/SMA and advisory platforms (e.g., Orion Eclipse).
  • Understanding of FINRA/SEC considerations, DTCC/NSCC, Morningstar data, Pershing standards.
  • Observability (OpenTelemetry), API gateways, service mesh, rate limiting, and non functional tuning.
  • Bachelor's in CS/Engineering/IS (Master's a plus).
