Job Title: Senior Manager, Distribution Strategic Sourcing

Job Description:
Pay Range: $151000hr - $151000hr
  • The Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Leader is responsible for building and leading a high-performance team to develop strategic portfolio and category plans.
  • The role oversees sourcing activities, contract governance, and spend management across multiple lines of business (LOBs).
  • The incumbent drives cost savings, service excellence, and total cost of ownership while ensuring supplier performance and compliance with organizational policies.
Responsibilities:
  • Build and manage a high-performance team including Portfolio Managers, Procurement Managers, and Category Leads.
  • Develop strategic portfolio and category plans to generate cost savings, optimize diversity spending, and enhance total cost of ownership.
  • Ensure governance of the contract approval process from creation through award.
  • Oversee contract spend across multiple spend categories in multiple LOBs.
  • Develop short- and long-term strategies for all spend categories within portfolio.
  • Lead complex cross-functional teams to execute strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Conduct spend analysis, needs assessment, benchmarking, and business case development.
  • Lead development and execution of negotiation strategies.
  • Approve purchase orders and contracts ranging from $500,000 to $10 million.
  • Monitor and maximize customer satisfaction using standardized service level agreements.
  • Establish service level agreements to hold suppliers accountable for performance.
  • Manage continuous improvement-based supplier relationships for mutual benefit.
  • Develop work processes and procedures aligned to organizational requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience (one year of experience for every year of college).
  • 8 years of sourcing or related industry experience.
Desired Qualifications:
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
  • Six Sigma, CPSM, or other relevant certification.
  • Strategic sourcing and project management experience.
  • Experience in the utility industry preferred.
  • SAP/SRM proficiency desired.
  • Minimum 8 years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and relationship management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and resolve complex problems.
