Job Title: Senior Manager, Distribution Strategic Sourcing

Job Description:
Pay Range: $151000hr - $151000hr
- The Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Leader is responsible for building and leading a high-performance team to develop strategic portfolio and category plans.
- The role oversees sourcing activities, contract governance, and spend management across multiple lines of business (LOBs).
- The incumbent drives cost savings, service excellence, and total cost of ownership while ensuring supplier performance and compliance with organizational policies.
- Build and manage a high-performance team including Portfolio Managers, Procurement Managers, and Category Leads.
- Develop strategic portfolio and category plans to generate cost savings, optimize diversity spending, and enhance total cost of ownership.
- Ensure governance of the contract approval process from creation through award.
- Oversee contract spend across multiple spend categories in multiple LOBs.
- Develop short- and long-term strategies for all spend categories within portfolio.
- Lead complex cross-functional teams to execute strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Conduct spend analysis, needs assessment, benchmarking, and business case development.
- Lead development and execution of negotiation strategies.
- Approve purchase orders and contracts ranging from $500,000 to $10 million.
- Monitor and maximize customer satisfaction using standardized service level agreements.
- Establish service level agreements to hold suppliers accountable for performance.
- Manage continuous improvement-based supplier relationships for mutual benefit.
- Develop work processes and procedures aligned to organizational requirements.
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience (one year of experience for every year of college).
- 8 years of sourcing or related industry experience.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
- Six Sigma, CPSM, or other relevant certification.
- Strategic sourcing and project management experience.
- Experience in the utility industry preferred.
- SAP/SRM proficiency desired.
- Minimum 8 years of supervisory experience.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and resolve complex problems.
