Site Security Officer (cleared)

Piper Companies is looking for a Site Security Officer to join a DoD government contractor. This is a full-time job and fully onsite in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

Essential Duties of the Site Security Officer:

• Coordinate visitor security and control, operations security (OPSEC), communication security (COMSEC), security education, emergency plans, and classification management.
• Support security and facility inspections.
• Manage and conduct National Industrial Security Program (NISP) operations. Develop and deliver a comprehensive continual security awareness program that supplements and enhances the NISP requirements.
• Ensure compliance with DoD, Federal, and Intelligence Community regulations that govern the critical security disciplines.

Qualifications of the Site Security Officer:

• 5+ years of experience as a Security Specialist, Personnel Security Specialist, and/or Physical Security Specialist within the DOD environment.
• Must possess expert knowledge of Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), e-FCL, ISFD, ACAVS, and other security systems.
• Strong working knowledge of National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoD personnel and information security regulations, information systems security program requirements, Director Central Intelligence Directives (DCIDs), and other related Federal security laws, directives and regulations is required.
• Must have experience with Program Protection Plans.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Top Secret (or higher) clearance.

Compensation for the Site Security Officer:

• $100,000 to $140,000 (based on experience)
