responsibilities:
As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and supporting cutting-edge Microsoft BI solutions. Your primary focus will be on leveraging your expertise to create powerful data models, analytical tools, and visualizations that drive strategic decision-making across a global enterprise.
- Develop and Implement BI Solutions: Build comprehensive data, analytics, and visualization tools using the Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS), with a strong emphasis on data modeling.
- Drive Data-Driven Decisions: Conduct in-depth data research and analysis to uncover key insights, develop insightful conclusions, and propose solutions that address critical business needs.
- Ensure Data Quality: Lead quality assurance and user acceptance testing by creating meticulous test plans and managing execution (Unit and UAT) to ensure the accuracy and reliability of BI solutions.
- Collaborate and Innovate: Partner with cross-functional teams to translate complex business and technical requirements into robust and scalable technical solutions.
- Shape the Future of BI: Contribute to the development of corporate frameworks and governance to advance business intelligence capabilities for a global audience.
- Provide Technical Leadership: Offer 2nd/3rd level technical support for supported applications and environments, including various critical business systems.
- Mentor and Grow: Proactively mentor colleagues, fostering their understanding and skill sets related to Analysis Services.

qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a systems-related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in database design and/or business analysis, with a strong focus on analytics and Tabular and OLAP cube development.
- Microsoft BI Stack Expertise: In-depth experience with Microsoft SQL Analysis Server is paramount.
- Database Proficiency: Strong command of SQL Relational Database and SQL Language.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences and effectively summarize findings and recommendations. You'll be adept at teaching, guiding, and asserting control when necessary during interactions with business partners.
skills:
- Experience with MDX/DAX.
- Proficiency in Report Development (Microsoft SSRS).
- Experience with Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) using Microsoft SSIS.
- Familiarity with Microsoft PowerBI, PowerView, or other visualization tools.
- Knowledge of Dimensional Modeling (Kimball Methodology).
- Experience with Azure.
- Experience supporting manufacturing or product development environments (e.g., Distribution, Finance, Inventory, Warehouse Management).
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX.
