Job Details

Mandatory Qualifications:
1. At least fifteen (15) years of full time equivalent (FTE) working experience in Information Technology, including technical architecture, system design and deployment, system lifecycle management, and infrastructure planning/operations.
2. At least ten (10) years of FTE experience within the last fifteen (15) years as a technical architect serving domains such as Business Architecture, IT Solution or Technical Architecture, Application Development, Middleware, Information/Data Analysis, Database Management, Operations in a Multi-tier Environment, Large-Scale System Implementation involving modernization of legacy IT systems.
3. At least five (5) years of FTE experience within the last ten (10) years serving as a Chief Enterprise Architect or Enterprise Architect on large-scale system implementations defined as those with a budget over $10M, multiple phases, and more than 50 project team members covering Planning and requirement validation, Solution design and technical architecture, Implementation and rollout, Knowledge transition and post-implementation support and Ongoing project governance.

Desirable Qualifications:
1. Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience leading or implementing IT initiatives that involved multiple public sector agencies and external partners and incorporated one or more of the following technologies or approaches: SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, service-oriented architecture (SOA), APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT, or predictive analytics.
2. Minimum of three (3) years of experience leading multiple, large, cross-functional teams or projects, demonstrating the ability to influence senior-level management and key stakeholders.
3. Minimum of (2) years of experience serving as an enterprise architect on projects following the California Project Approval Lifecycle (PAL) stage gate process.
4. Master s or bachelor s degree in business, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, system analysis or a related field of study, or equivalent experience.
