Job Details
We are seeking an experienced CMMI Process Auditor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) standards and assessing the implementation of process improvements within the organization. This role involves conducting internal and external audits, facilitating process improvement initiatives, and ensuring adherence to CMMI practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive CMMI process audits to assess compliance with established process standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Evaluate and analyze organizational processes to ensure alignment with CMMI Level 3/5 standards.
- Prepare and present audit findings, observations, and recommendations to key stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Support process owners and teams in defining, documenting, and improving processes in alignment with CMMI requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvement initiatives and corrective actions.
- Monitor and track process improvement plans and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
- Assist in preparing for CMMI appraisals and certification assessments.
- Provide training and guidance to teams on CMMI practices and methodologies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CMMI standards and related frameworks such as ISO, ITIL, and Agile practices.
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in process auditing, preferably within a CMMI-certified environment.
- Experience with CMMI Level 3 or higher implementation and audits.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- Certified CMMI Associate or Lead Appraiser.
- ISO 9001 or ISO/IEC 20000 certifications.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of CMMI process areas, principles, and appraisal methods.
- Proficiency in process modeling and process improvement techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
- Familiarity with tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, or Agile is an advantage.
- Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Adaptability to dynamic project requirements and stakeholder expectations.
