Do you love creating elegant solutions to highly complex challenges? Do you intrinsically see the importance in every detail? As part of our Silicon Technologies group, you'll help to ensure Apple products and services can seamlessly and efficiently handle the tasks that make them beloved by millions. In this hands-on role, you will interface with multiple Post-Silicon teams such as Product and Test Engineering (PTE), Digital Custom Group (DCG), Silicon Validation (SiVal) and DFT teams. You will write software to build and support automated infrastructure that these teams use for data management and data processing. In addition, you will have an opportunity to develop and support software used for memory failure analysis.
Description The position plays a key role in focusing and fostering on our North Star and making sure that our vision statement extends to all silicon teams: To create, monitor, and maintain high quality infrastructure and flows that enable Hardware Technology to produce chips that enable Apple's best products. The role also includes: - Developing and supporting multiple post-silicon infrastructure systems used to manage EMA, Memory Failure Analysis, Silicon Validation, Test Patterns and eFuses. - Evangelizing and promoting these systems across all Apple Silicon design teams. - Creating documentation and providing training to our internal customers. - Continued engagement with our internal customers so that we strive to improve the workflows and systems that suits their needs. You will be working with an energized and highly motivated CAD team that comprehensively supports Apple's chip design efforts.

Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in Perl, Python, or C++ programming languages.
- Minimum requirements of BS degree + 3 years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience working in Linux/Unix environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Post-Silicon infrastructure such as management of Test Programs, eFuses, EMAs, and Memory Failure Analysis
- Experience in large-scale system infrastructure from specification, software development to deployment.
- Experience of software engineering practices (agile, code review, automated builds, regression testing, revision control systems).
- Experience with customer support
